Mainland Distribution offers both FTL & LTL options. Full truckload refers to a shipment that occupies the entire capacity of a truck. In FTL shipments, the entire space is dedicated to a single customer's cargo, ensuring that the goods are not mixed with other shipments. Less than truckload refers to shipments that do not require the full capacity of a truck and are combined with other shipments to maximize space utilization. LTL shipments are priced based on the space occupied by the shipment, weight, and distance traveled.
